Darkriver paced into Featherstars den, "Featherstar?" he called, Waiting outside the den for approval to come in. Featherstar wasn't herself, What was it bothering her? But that's not what he wanted to talk to her about, He wanted to talk to her about Fawnclaw.

Featherstar dipped her head "Come in, Darkriver." she greeted him. She got to her paws as Darkriver came in the den "What are you wanting to talk about?" she narrowed her eyes.

Darkriver sat down "There is a kit who turns 6 Moons today," He continued "Sliverkit." his voice died down, Sliverkit was always grouchy, If he got to mentor the apprentice he would hope he could knock some sense into the young cat.

Featherstar nodded her head "Mistflower will mentor the kit, We will have the ceremony now." she announced, She stepped out of the den and hopped onto Stone rock "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" "Today, Sliverkit will be earning her apprentice name. Sliverkit, step forward." (I'll be Sliverkit)

Sliverkit stepped forward.

Featherstar looked at the young kit "Sliverkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sliverpaw. Your mentor will be Mistflower. I hope Mistflower will pass down all he/she knows on to you." she announced, Featherstar turned to Mistflower, who was looking shocked beside her. "Mistflower, you are ready to take on a second apprentice. You have done an excellent job training Sagewhisker who is a credit to the clan, and you have shown yourself to be brave and loyal. You will be the mentor of Sliverpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." She announced, Featherstar started the chant "Sliverpaw! Sliverpaw!" and everyone else came in.

Sliverpaw refused to meet her mentor, I want Darkriver! she thought dreadfully, (Jayfeather reference!! XD) She ignored the encouragement from Sparrowfeather, and stayed where she was (Alondra, I feel like Darkriver would be a good character, to go a bit angry after this, and also to have meetings with Fawnclaw in secret. (Whether he is loyal, or it is an Ivypool and Hawkfrost situation.)) She turned around to Sparrowfeather "Stop staring at me like that!" she snapped "I wanted Darkriver!" she hissed.

Sparrowfeather licked her gently "Featherstar chose Mistflower, and no matter how hard it is to accept it, You must, or, you won't be an apprentice." "Go on, Sliverpaw." she encouraged,

Sliverpaw snorted and ran up to her mentor barging into her with a hiss. She looked at fury up at Mistflower, She violently pressed (What is it! I have been reading the whole warriors series and I can't remember XD) her nose against hers. With a furioius hiss she unsheathed her claws.

Featherstar flicked her tail and dismissed the meeting, going back into her den.

Mistflower looked at her apprentice in dismay, She was so close to going into Featherstars den and demanding a change in mentors, "Sliverpaw, I will pass on all my knowledge to you, I promise." she struggled to speak, when her apprentice had just bitten her, and blood was starting to run. "For now, I want you to go get some fresh-kill and take it to the apprentice den and relax." She ordered. She turned around the Skypond when her apprentice walked away "For Starclans sake! She just attacked me!" She growled, she indicated her bleeding.
