A question has been at the top of my mind recently, What is the difference between Admin and Bureaucrat?

Have been a Bureaucrat for a few months, It would be a pleasure to tell you.

Administrators and Bureaucrats both have all the possible permissions But play two different roles, Firstly, Administrators are seen more often in the forums more then Bureaucrats, as their job is to Moderate the forum, and ban/warn/block/delete accounts. On the other hand, Bureaucrats are not expected to Moderate the forum consistently, and mostly do the background administrative duties: Such as fixing bugs, and improving the layout and system, Bureaucrats are also the final voice, so if an Administrator believes that a user deserves a punishment - It must be approved by both Burceacurats before the decision is final: But, there are some exceptions.

For example, if an Administrator sees's a straight up violation of the guidelines consistently, They have every right to take action immediately without permission, Administrators have full permission to warn a user, but if they are unsure, they go to a Bureaucrat.

Administrators are promoted to a Bureaucrat when all of the Bureaucrats agree, Or when a Bureaucrat retires the oldest (as in longest serving) Administrator will take their place. Like Fang did when I stepped down.

Currently, Fang and Astar are the Bureaucrats, Previously, It was just going to be Fang, but Astar decided to offer to be one, knowing that she is far too active :P and TempestFan is the only Admin, and Laskie and Celestialaska are the Moderators.

Also, another point to make is when the Admin team need a new admin they will promote the oldest (once again, as in longest serving) and active Moderator to be an Administrator.

I don't agree with that system, I feel like users should be able to sign up without approval.
