Facediary Discussion / Staff Apprecation
« on: July 06, 2018, 11:58:49 am »
I decided to make this thread to shine a light on the Staff team, they are awesome and amazing at Moderation, but not just that; having fun and interacting with the community actively.

Without them, coming on Facediary every day would not be as fun as it is now, they are welcoming and kind to everyone. And they have succeeded at making Facediary a safe for so many people. I really enjoy talking to all of them, they are friendly and motivating people who have done amazing things for this community and I'm sure the whole community cannot think of enough things to describe them as. They are truly the most awesome staff team I have came across and they have offered me many opportunities that I wouldn't even dream of having. Thank you Facediary staff team! From Helpers to the Developer, you have made a community that everyone can join, and I can't thank you enough. Carry on what your doing because you are amazing at it.

Thank you, Staff team! :D

Roleplay / Re: Roleplaying guidelines
« on: April 21, 2018, 05:15:13 pm »
Shouldn't it be that you can kill other characters with the roleplayers permission? Its sounds a lot fairer, because the Warriors Roleplay has broken that rule many times - (With permission of course from the other roleplayer.)
The warrior's roleplay has always done it with the permission of the other roleplayer - The only person to have done this was Fawnclaw (@FreeBreeze). That would be a good point to add.
Agreed.
Agreed Aswell.
You may not agree, but I strongly agree that it is bending it very tightly and Staff shouldn't be bending the Guidelines, I am not in any way accusing Fang of anything, but I feel its wrong for Staff to go in that area.

The staff team isn't lazy, Please do not use that type of language, They deserve nothing less than your respect.

Oh! Yes, please!  :D Its da great Moderator Chipy! Come to dominate yet another website ha?
If we still did elections for CC Oh we do... Anyways, you would probably be the one to do the sarcastic, joking one :D
I'm here to save the day! Not dominate da website, thats basic. XD

History / Re: Administrator and Bureaucrat?
« on: April 13, 2018, 05:04:58 pm »
Have been a Bureaucrat for a few months, It would be a pleasure to tell you.

Administrators and Bureaucrats both have all the possible permissions But play two different roles, Firstly, Administrators are seen more often in the forums more then Bureaucrats, as their job is to Moderate the forum, and ban/warn/block/delete accounts. On the other hand, Bureaucrats are not expected to Moderate the forum consistently, and mostly do the background administrative duties: Such as fixing bugs, and improving the layout and system, Bureaucrats are also the final voice, so if an Administrator believes that a user deserves a punishment - It must be approved by both Burceacurats before the decision is final: But, there are some exceptions.

For example, if an Administrator sees's a straight up violation of the guidelines consistently, They have every right to take action immediately without permission, Administrators have full permission to warn a user, but if they are unsure, they go to a Bureaucrat.

Administrators are promoted to a Bureaucrat when all of the Bureaucrats agree, Or when a Bureaucrat retires the oldest (as in longest serving) Administrator will take their place. Like Fang did when I stepped down.

Currently, Fang and Astar are the Bureaucrats, Previously, It was just going to be Fang, but Astar decided to offer to be one, knowing that she is far too active :P and TempestFan is the only Admin, and Laskie and Celestialaska are the Moderators.

Also, another point to make is when the Admin team need a new admin they will promote the oldest (once again, as in longest serving) and active Moderator to be an Administrator.

*Sigh* Oh well, at least you got a good nap :D
Oh yea I did, Thanks.

Being Implemented, But we will speak nothing about it, Users should find out gradually.
But, you could agree that if you want to encourage users to help, they should know that it is a thing they can obtain.
What a interesting argument :P
Agreed with Blue.
